I was born at my aunt's house at Sotra. I was in such a hurry that I couldn't wait until my mother arrived at the hospital.

I finished 9th grade.

Language course in Brighton, UK.

|
1st year of Upper Secondary School (Sotra Vidaregåande skule)

| 1988 - 1989 |
|
12th grade of High School at Southside HS, Alabama, USA. I lived with my host parents Hazel and C.B. Hunt.

| 1989 - 1991 |
|
2nd and 3rd years of Upper Secondary School. Graduated in 1991.

|
I was elected to the local council in Fjell, representing Moderat Ungdomsliste.

| September 1991 - November 1992 |
|
Compulsory service in the armed forces. I did my service in the Navy, where I was responsible for making a newspaper for Haakonsvern Naval Camp in Bergen.

| November 1992 - March 1994 |
|
Service in the UN force in Somalia (UNOSOM). I worked as a radio operator and as a clerk/chauffeur at the Military Intelligence Office at UNOSOM Force HQ.

| 1994 - 1998 |
|
Studies at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

| March 7, 1998 |
|
I won the Norwegian Business Championship (SBT) together with Knut Egner and Vegard Thorsen.

Started working for Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), Oslo.

| December 2002 - February 2003 |

Working at the London office of NBIM.

Working at the New York office of NBIM.

I got married with Anton Dimitrov in Oslo.
